If you or someone you know has a child who is hoping to attend Orange Grove for the first time in the 2026-2027 school year, please note that the 26-27 CCSD School Choice application window is now open and will close on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 12:00 pm. For your convenience, you can access CCSD’s School Choice page for information on the application process, updates, and important timelines here.
If your student is currently enrolled at Orange Grove, you do NOT need to reapply. This also applies to 5th graders moving up to Middle School next year. You will receive information later this spring when it is time to re-register for next year.
If you have a sibling that is not yet enrolled at Orange Grove (rising kindergarteners turning 5 on or before September 1, 2026, or grades 1-8), then you MUST apply during the application window (now - February 12) to be included in the lottery. Click here to submit an online application.
- When completing the application, please be sure to indicate that you are applying as a sibling. This is a priority that is given to our currently enrolled families.

- Last year, we had nearly 1,500 applicants for 100 openings, so please make sure that you are applying within the window in order to give yourself the best chance. Applications must be submitted by Thursday, February 12, 2026, by 12:00 pm to be entered into the lottery.
If you received one of our “In The Zone” mailers over break, please note that the incorrect dates were printed by the vendor. Updated mailers with the correct timeline will go out this Friday to all households located “In The Zone”.
For families looking to apply for Orange Grove’s 4-year-old Child Development program, paper applications are now available in the Elementary front office. Throughout CCSD’s School Choice Application window (January 7 - February 12), parents/guardians can pick up an application, Monday - Friday, between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm. Please note: applicants who reside outside of our priority attendance zone will only be contacted to schedule a testing date if the number of in zone applicants is less than the number of anticipated openings. Completed applications and required supporting documentation is due no later than Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
